General Counsel at Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport
Elaine Flud Rodriguez has served as General Counsel of Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport since August 2011. In this position, Ms. Rodriguez directs and manages all legal functions for the Airport, including management of the Airport’s inside legal department and outside legal counsel. Prior to joining the Airport, Ms. Rodriguez served as General Counsel of two publicly-traded wireless communications companies, EF Johnson Technologies, Inc. (from March 2008 to February 2011) and CellStar Corporation (from September 1993 to August 2007). Before joining CellStar, she was General Counsel of Zoecon Corporation, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Sandoz Ltd. Prior to those roles, she was engaged in the private practice of law with Akin, Gump, Strauss, Hauer & Feld and Atlas & Hall. Ms. Rodriguez earned her BA from Loyola University New Orleans and her JD from Tulane University School of Law. She is licensed to practice law in the states of Texas and Louisiana. Ms. Rodriguez is a member of the Dallas and American Bar Associations, the Texas General Counsel Forum (Board Member, DFW Chapter), and the Steering Group of the ACI-NA (Airports Council International) Legal Affairs Committee.
